Checkers

Checkers is a popular folk game, played on a chessboard with pieces moving diagonally. This game not only brings entertainment but also helps develop strategic thinking and planning skills.

How to play Checkers

Two players will face each other on an 8x8 square chessboard, with each player owning 12 pieces. The goal of the game is to capture all of the opponent's pieces or make the opponent have no legal moves.

The player with the black pieces will go first. The pieces can only move diagonally forward. The pieces move diagonally forward one space at a time. If there is an opportunity to jump over and capture an opponent's piece, the player is forced to do so. The captured piece will be removed from the board.

When a piece moves to the opponent's last row, it will be promoted to King. The King can move diagonally both forward and backward. The game ends when one player captures all of the opponent's pieces or makes the opponent run out of legal moves
